The code that displays the hidden programmer credit in Doki!Doki! Yuuenchi is also present in Banana Prince, but completely unused. The lives variable and character mappings were changed to work with Banana Prince, which seems to indicate that it's not just an old leftover. It's currently unknown where this would have been triggered.

Debug Menu

Japanese
German

Hold Left + A + Select + Start on the first controller then press Reset.

  • ぼうけん - 'Bouken' ('Adventure') - Stage Select screen
  • ぱすわあど - 'Password' - Generic Password screen
  • おんがく - 'Ongaku' ('Music') - Sound Test screen
  • ろむのなか - 'ROM no naka' ('Inside ROM') - CHR viewer screen
  • いべんと - 'Events' - Events Debug screen

Stage Select

Dragon mania legends cheats for android free download. Press Left or Right to select any level or sublevel. Press A to start from the selected level. A second invisible menu item exists. It even has its own internal variable and you can even change it the same way you change the stage number, but it doesn't have any effect.

Sound Test

Japanese
German

Use the D-Pad to select a music track or sound effect and press A to play it. The Japanese version has the composer's full name, 'しおだのぶゆき', or 'Shioda Nobuyuki'; the German version shortens this to 'N.SHIODA'.

CHR Viewer

Use A and B buttons to increase or decrease displayed bank number accordingly.

Events Debug

Use the D-Pad buttons to select any event index and press A to view it. 'RING' option allows you to add some 'rings' to use them at the shop or at gambling events. The number represents the value of selected rings x100.

Unused Programmer Credit

The code that displays the hidden programmer credit in Doki! Doki! Yuuenchi is also present in Banana Prince, but completely unused. The lives variable and character mappings were changed to work with Banana Prince, which seems to indicate that it's not just an old leftover. It's currently unknown where this would have been triggered.

To access it in either version, use the Game Genie codes SZVLZTIK + SLVLLVOL, then enter the debug menu and press B. To return to the menu, press A. Note that although the code does attempt to give 99 lives, the variable is overwritten before the game starts.

Debug Leftovers

The Game Genie code GEKUVOGK re-enables the simple pause mode debugging handler. During pause, press A to change the weapon, press B to max its power. There are more debug variables ($12B) which can be incremented from $00 to $3F if you keep holding the Start button after entering the Pause mode, but they aren't used in the final game.

Regional Differences

Japanese
German

The title screen's logo was altered, as was the copyright, removing Soldout's name; the 'Start' and 'Pass' doors were also recolored.

Japanese
German

All of the characters in the game were redrawn for the German version, such as the girl on the password screen.
