This is the most repetitive LEGO build I have ever worked on. Once you complete the base, you are stuck building 8 identical pieces (each of which take 2-3 hours to assemble) - and then another 8 identical pieces (same 2-3 hours). It was, frankly, boring. In general, I find doing LEGOs to be downright meditative, as I get thoroughly lost in the process. Being someone who loved Lego's as a kid, my 4-year old son received a small Lego set for his birthday two years ago. Since then, he (and I) have purchased several (many) more sets. Some people have mentioned that it's a double-build for the towers (it is), but each tower is so complex in the number of steps and pieces. When Lego uses their creativity in technical car builds, the results are usually fantastic. This set is the best I've had the pleasure of building.
